Within the PROANDA COMPOUNDS category for fresh products – the so-called meat-based preparations – we manufacture the


PRO SALSICHA 40, a complete national compound for the manufacture of Fresh Sausage, perfectly adapted to the taste of the Portuguese.


WE ALSO HIGHLIGHT compounds for the manufacture of the most varied types of fresh sausages, from Tuscany or fresh Creole, Merguesa, Poultry sausage and Boer sausage, among others. In addition to these standard compounds, we also have the technical capacity and knowledge to create formulations adapted to the needs of our customers.

MEAT PRODUCTS include chorizos, black pudding or farinheiras, including hams, hams, smoked bacon (bacon) and mortadella, among others that have undergone a treatment process that alters the characteristics of fresh meat.


Since its creation, PROANDA PORTUGUESA has been concerned with keeping products as traditional Portuguese. Within this spirit, being a Portuguese company for the national industry, it has developed and continues to develop a whole range of compounds (mix's) perfectly adapted to our traditional products, such as meat sausages, black pudding for roasting and cooking, rice black pudding, paios, palaios, paiolas or hams, working with clients from north to south of Portugal.

It is always with this principle in mind that PROANDA PORTUGUESA selects its spice suppliers, with quality and regularity, carefully defining physical-chemical and microbiological parameters that allow monitoring and ensuring constant excellence, present in each batch of product.


We can highlight PROPIMENTÃO

(140 Asta colored Sweet Pepper), ground Cumin, ground Clove, Nutmeg, white and black pepper, ground or in grain, among others.

Antioxidants, Flavorings and Preservatives

PROANDA PORTUGUESA produces all types of compounds for the most diverse purposes, from the simplest to the most complex, always meeting the needs of customers.


Within the category of antioxidants and preservatives, we highlight PRO CONSERVANTE HAMBURGUESA (preservative for colored meat-based preparations, without altering the characteristic aromas or flavors of the final product); to the PROANDA ANTIOXIDANT (ideal solution to maintain the color of the products, even when packaged in a controlled atmosphere) and also to the NITRIFIER or the NITRITED SALT.


In addition to composite products, we also sell simple additives within the categories of antioxidants, preservatives and even flavorings (smoke, meat, ham, bacon, etc.), as well as acidity stabilizers, emulsifiers and gelling agents, among others.

In an attempt to SATISFY ALL CUSTOMERS, we have diversified the range of our products by selecting suppliers that guarantee quantity and quality also in matters considered as accessories, such as tying and clipping threads, elastic mesh nets or skewer sticks, among others.

Fibers, Starches and Vegetable Proteins

INGREDIENTS OF PLANT ORIGIN, such as fibres, soy proteins, starches and starches, are currently vitally important components in highly mechanized manufacturing processes. Not only do they reduce breakage, but at a technological level, they help to give texture and structure to the meat. The most used are pea fibers, corn starches and dextrins, isolated, concentrated and textured soy proteins. 

Guts (envelopes) Natural and Collagenous

GUTS in the meat products industry are a fundamental element in their manufacture. And when we talk about traditional products, the casing has a decisive influence on the color, flavor and aroma.


PROANDA has a wide variety of casings of various origins and calibers, such as mutton, pork or beef casings. They are 100% natural casings, well calibrated and preserved, maintaining the fundamental characteristics of flexibility and resistance, without imparting unpleasant taste or aromas. And they don't need cold for conservation.
